Terms of use
These terms apply to the lowrow app and this website. The provider is Moritz Kobrna (see the imprint).
The app
lowrow is a virtual rowing experience for home. You can use it without an account. While we are testing it is free; testers we promise it to keep it free for good. Should there be paid features later, we will say so clearly beforehand, and the App Store's terms apply in addition.
Train at your own risk
Rowing is sport. Listen to your body, warm up, and ask your doctor if in doubt. The numbers in the app (power, split, heart rate, calories) are estimates by your device and the app, not medical measurements.
Maps and content
The worlds are generated automatically from OpenStreetMap and elevation data. They are a stylised picture, not a navigation aid; banks, bridges and buildings may differ from the real place. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
Play fair
In multiplayer: no harassment, no offensive names, no manipulated numbers. We may remove names and exclude people who do not stick to this.
Liability
We build lowrow with care but cannot promise it works flawlessly with every device. We are liable for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this applies only as far as it does not take away the protection of mandatory provisions of the country you live in.
